Kimberrys on Okodan Rd in Accra is a cozy cafe and bakery that draws locals who appreciate quality pastries and simple, fresh meals in a laid-back setting. It’s the kind of place where regulars quickly form a habit of dropping by, whether for an afternoon coffee break or a light lunch. The cafe’s charm partly comes from its smaller footprint—indoor seating is quite limited, so most visitors settle into the outdoor area, which suits the Accra climate well and encourages a casual, neighborhood vibe.

The menu highlights both sweet and savory options, with cakes like chocolate, pistachio, and lemon standing out alongside savory bites such as chicken avocado sandwiches and sausage rolls. Those sausage rolls are especially popular, often selling out, pointing to their flaky crusts and moist fillings. The presence of avocado across many sandwich choices speaks to local taste trends, though it’s worth noting not every dish is clearly marked for that, so avocado-sensitive diners might want to ask. For something heartier, the coconut curry rice with lamb chops or mashed potatoes with pork chops offer more substantial meals without straying from the cafe’s comfort food feel.

Kimberrys fits well into daily life on Okodan Rd, favored by locals who stop by frequently, sometimes multiple days in a row, drawn by the steady quality and warm, informal atmosphere. The vibe is unpretentious and welcoming, making it suitable for solo visits, quick catch-ups, or working through a laptop outdoors. The best time to visit tends to be midday to early afternoon, when the bustle peaks but the outdoor space remains comfortably accommodating.

In essence, Kimberrys works best for those who enjoy thoughtful pastries and casual cafe meals in a relaxed environment that feels rooted in Accra’s local neighborhood rhythm rather than tourist-focused hotspots. Expect a modest, somewhat snug space inside, with more room and airiness outside where the community gathers. Whether you’re chasing a rich chai latte alongside a nutty brownie or a satisfying chicken avocado wrap, Kimberrys shows how small cafes in Accra can blend neighborhood familiarity with well-crafted eats.

I found myself going almost everyday at Kimberrys since the opening . Does that say enough? ...... A friend offered me a nutty brownie and recommended I tried this place . It was the best brownie I ever had in Accra so the next day I was at kimberrys. Yes the next day no kidding. hahahaha I develop a big love for this place within a short time for so many reasons. I always felt special, welcome, included, accepted and treated right here so to feel that alone it was enough to be in love but no the food is amazing, the space is so welcoming. I have so much courage trying different things here every time I am there because bite after bite it gave me a big love for this place . From dessert to tea to vegan salads and not to talk about the coffee. Eeeiii amazing. It just hit the right spot Wow I would stop here but to say again, the customer service here is unmatchable. I always felt welcome and special and that is so important to me and I trust a lot of us. I highly recommend this place. Love it ! Not to forget they accept different kinds of payments. Cash, Mobile money, cards etc. its on my favorite place list already 100% .

They sell very beautiful and tasty pastries. If you want to buy in bulk you'll have to order in advance. There is also a very limited indoor sitting space. If you want to eat in you'll have to do it outside

I loved their food. They have one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted. Their space is a little smaller than I expected. But overall, it was a great experience!!!

I enjoyed every single thing that I ordered. The grilled chicken panini had Avocado but it wasn’t stated in the menu (not everyone likes avocado). The Pepper Steak Panini was not as spicy as I imagined. It seems all their sandwiches come with Avocado. There is an indoor and outdoor space. I knew it was a small space. However, it was much smaller than I expected. If you’re coming in a large group it might be problematic for you. All in all I love Kimberry’s!!

I love Kimberrys, so much. Right from the baked goods, patisserie to the food, everything is absolutely delicious. My favourites are the sausage rolls, which are almost always finished... gives you an indication of how delicious they are, moist, juicy sausages with a thin, flaky, and buttery crust. I also love they red velvet cakes that melt in the mouth. The hot food options are also super delicious, especially the fish fry with the seafood fried rice and oh the lamb chops and jollof. The salads are also always fresh and crisp, my go to is the chicken avocado salad. I'm honestly yet to experience a miss at Kimberrys. Kim,the owner is super nice and will go far to even recommend what you should get, especially for the teas. The eating space is quite small and will fit a handful of people. It's moderately priced, and there's a service charge for eat-ins, so please take note of that. I'm always in a hurry to wolf down the food so I forget to take pictures... Edited to add - I went there another time and remembered to take photos

Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely cafe. I could go and on! The service is unmatched! I totally loved it here. The ambience is very welcoming and charming. Every detail was carefully crafted and well thought of. From the color palette to the seating arrangements to inscriptions and my absolute favourite which was the cute little flowers. Everything we ordered was fresh and absolutely delicious. My order of mashed potatoes and chicken roast was excellent! Wish I had a whole space to talk about the owner, Kimberly. She’s definitely the sweetest. She gave us a free slice of cake to highlight our birthday celebration. She made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. The waiter, Emmanuel, couldn’t have been nicer. He was quick, efficient and friendly. He helped recommend a cocktail and didn’t disappoint! The service was was so amazing and will definitely be back again. Thank you once again Kimberly!

This place!!!!! Their service is so good and the owner is such a lovely and sweet person. It’s a small space so you may want to take away but even the eat ins are so pleasant. I love the writings in the space and the food. The food deserves a paragraph of its own. You can tell it’s made with so much love and dedication and it’s very consistent. I’ve had mashed potatoes there 3 times and it’s been the same consistent quality. They have lunch orders that you can order in as well. It’s an absolute hidden gem and you should definitely try it!
